Protecting people, property, and uptime across the Gulf Coast

ICFP’s first priority is getting everyone home safe, every day. From the way we plan jobs to the way we document and close them out, safety isn’t an add‑on. It’s how we work.

Why Safety Matters Here

High-stakes environments

We work in industrial, commercial, and government facilities where life safety and continuity are on the line.

Coastal expertise

Gulf Coast conditions—salt air, storms, heat, and humidity—demand rigorous inspection, testing, and maintenance (ITM) to keep systems mission-ready.

Do-it-right culture

We’re craftsmen who take pride in clean, code-compliant installs and thorough ITM—because quality work is safe work.

Our Safety Policies & Practices

People & Training – New-hire safety orientation, role-specific training, and ongoing toolbox talks tied to task hazards. Qualification for specialized work (pumps, tanks, detection).

Planning the Work (Before We Start) – Pre-task plans (PTP) / Job Hazard Analyses (JHA), site walkthroughs, utility and impairment checklists, and subcontractor/permit alignment.

Working the Plan (On Site) – PPE based on the JHA, fall protection controls, ladder/scaffold requirements, housekeeping and staging standards, daily tailboards, and last-minute risk checks.

LOTO & Hot Work Controls – Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) for electrical and pump work, hot work permits and fire watches when required, and verification steps before restoration.

System Impairments & Notifications – AHJ/owner/monitoring notifications, fire watch procedures during impairments, and rapid restoration + retesting protocols.

Driving & Fleet Safety – Vehicle inspections, load securement, and defensive-driving standards for every crew on every route.

Stop-Work Authority: Every ICFP team member can pause work for any unsafe condition—no exceptions.
